With the Washington, D.C., area preparing for an historic blizzard this weekend, one of its most famous residents met the white stuff for the first time. Keepers at the National Zoo took 5-month-old panda cub Bei Bei outside into a small area Thursday morning to explore a light dusting of snow while his mom was busy eating breakfast.
